My story
I’m ready to honestly admit that I am not the most active user of the site. I learned about the site through the YouTube channel and it was during the reign of Kostya Trostenyuk 4 years ago. I met, of course, with the help of Ivan Loev and his stunning history of Rockstar Games. After that, he began to absorb all the channel’s content, from the difficulties of translation of Denis Karamyshev to the old Retrozors. And so StopGame began to be present in my life every day, starting with its Infact, of course. I use the site more passively for now, I promise it will improve.

I came to the site a year ago, but it’s been a while since I watched it on YouTube; I love the section “Debriefing”, “Scary, turn it off” and I also look at others. In addition to interesting content, StopGame for me is a place for self-development, self-expression and creativity. I’ve also blogged a bit on Sports in the past.ru, however, I am better at materials on gaming topics, and this direction is more interesting for me. And also, not so long ago, I found new friends here and now we have our own Discord chat) By the way, we recently started our own collective blog.

I remember cozy Saturdays with a cup of dumplings, I’m 23 years old (4?), and the eye is pleased with the video sequence of the next Igrozor, and the most beautiful smoky voice of Kulakov flows into the ears. Ehhhh.

As a YT viewer for about 8 years, I probably just don’t remember how I got to SG.
I don’t remember how I got to the site in 2012-2013, before that I read the Gambling site. I learned much later that good videos are cut in different formats here. But I stayed on the site because I was very surprised by the absence (or small number compared to the same Gambling Mania) of inappropriate people, motherfuckers, meaningless assholes and just nonsense in the comments. Part of this, of course, can be explained by the work of moderators, but they then delete comments and ban only for outright insults and violations. In general, I stayed on the site because of the adequacy of the commentators, whose opinions and jokes were no less interesting to read than the news under which they were posted.
I registered on the site in 1914, I started watching on YouTube a little earlier. I got caught because of Igrozor, and then it went from there. Moreover, I came across the site’s content even earlier, when Freeman’s Mind looked. And then it turns out that it’s here too)
I started surfing the site and reading news a little later, probably in half a year or a year. Somehow it’s even difficult to realize that 6 years have already passed.
But SG is the first place where I took part in at least some kind of competition. Interesting description of what can be made from snow and sticks, won one of the copies of Feel the Snow, not a bad game.
It’s a pity that the site and blogs are not in the best shape and there is not enough activity. There are no comments at all under other news. Well, at least YouTube is strong. I probably can’t imagine life without SG)

I don’t remember exactly how I got to Stopgame. It all started with daily news from Infact (Infarct), then I started looking at other sections: Lost in translation, Debriefing, game reviews, etc. When more stable Internet appeared at home, I was stuck on streams. Little by little I began to recognize the authors, some even confused with each other at first.

A friend advised me in the year 12, but until 15 I visited the site from time to time. Since I was 15, I regularly read the news and selectively view content. Through stopgame I learned about such a phenomenon as streams, which later became the main source of entertainment in my leisure time.
Hello! Here is my page, I mainly wrote about some current topics in football) Mostly I’m only interested in it. At one time I played a lot of sports games and played many parts, both Pes and Fifa (the last of the relatively new parts was Pes 2018). Now I can periodically play Fifa 10 – for me it’s the perfect sports sim (except for the graphics, of course – it looks outdated).

I found this site almost 10 years ago, when I was still a schoolboy, and I fell for the stopgame bait. Thanks to the Freeman Mind and the Elite World. It’s still pleasant to remember how I watched dozens of already released episodes and looked forward to new ones (the “about myself” column still refers to those times).
I remember my first post was in the style of “thanks to the site for the translations” and then the local inhabitants considered me a fake from one of the locals, and the blog entry was subtle trolling and an “experiment”. (I looked now, and there are 406 replies in the topic, wow!) But I really was so naive and didn’t even have a clue how everything worked here and how it worked, who the card jackers were and why they weren’t liked.
Later I created a more conscious topic, in the wake of the passion for magazines and a couple of topics with the distribution of some keys from Steamgifts. Mostly then I commented and responded to other people’s blogs, news. I remember Drone, his photo from Skype is still somewhere in the “new folder” 😀
By and large, I am not an active user of the site, there were long breaks in visiting, up to a couple of years. But despite our unstable history of communication, I love Stopgeym and its population, I consider myself partly a Stopgeymite, in the last couple of years I even regularly watch your YouTube channel, and today, I even got into blogs, after so many years. Bow to everyone who remembers me, thanks to everyone who remained on the site team and hello to those I don’t know 🙂
In short: In 2010, a friend at the university showed me machinima, then I was hooked and started watching it on SG. Then I gradually became interested in other sections of the site. When live broadcasts appeared, I was very interested in this direction. Got hooked on StarCraft, and then tanks. Of course, my favorite authors at that time were Yaroslav Shalashov and Kirill Oreshkin. We even crossed paths with Kirill in teamspeak, when he was accepted into Wargaming, I was in the tank supertest then. After the appearance of “Kinologists”, I became a regular viewer of this column. Probably, even now I pay more attention to live broadcasts. I would like more streams of co-op games with a friendly team of SG authors.
It all started when I found cool videos about games on YouTube and even subscribed to the channel. Over time, I decided to visit the site and read articles here, even my question for the ChGK passed and I was able to win (if anyone remembers about torches and those who light them). Since my computer was very weak, I played mainly on emulators of old consoles and then I became very addicted to games for NDS. It turned out that there are quite a lot of interesting projects there, which our players know practically nothing about, and I decided to make my own blog and share my knowledge. This is why this account was created, from which I am writing, and in fact everything started to happen.
