First, download the file *pdo format, it is here (link directly to the download, upon clicking, the download should begin immediately), files with the same format are opened by Pepakura Viewer 3 (download from deposit and turbobit). Now we will analyze pepakura
Here’s pepakura itself
What’s in it: Button File, I think there is no need to explain, everything is so simple.
View, Most of the functions that are there are in the panel, so we won’t analyze it, I’ll just advise you to uncheck all the checkboxes there
Setting, there is one important point, Print Setting, printing settings, I think you will understand it, since everyone has their own.
Help, what is it and why I think there is no need to explain
Now let’s move on to the panel that is located under these buttons.
What’s there: Folder icon, opening a file as the name suggests
Cube, changing the color of the printout and model, in our case it will change gray to white
Brush, we don’t need this, it doesn’t seem to work in our case
Three numbers, a piece of paper under them, This button is for numbering all edges of parts, I strongly do not recommend pressing it, let it be turned off
Once again a cube, but a little different, this is for the appearance/disappearance of gaps between the gluing points on the model
Bulb, we don’t need anything important underneath it
Leaf P.1, Page numbering, no pressing required
Comment, no need to press, we don’t need it
Adjustable wrench, color settings
Another cube, serves to return the model and drawings to their original position, press as much as you want
Printer, printout
Two sheets, click and you will understand
i in a circle, we don’t need it, and I don’t understand what it is
Now let’s move on https://oshicasino.uk to the assembly, but first I’ll tell you what the point of Pepakura is, firstly, you can see a three-dimensional model in it, you can twist it, zoom it, select a certain element, etc. The most important advantage is that when you point at the edge of a part, a red arrow shows where this part needs to be glued, be careful, the arrow moves away from a certain tongue, it needs to be glued exactly where the arrow points, if you make a mistake, you will have to re-glue it. Everything seems to be fine with theory, let’s move on to practice.
As I wrote earlier, first assemble this model
, download here
There is nothing difficult about it, so I won’t describe it, I’ll go straight to what you came here for.
So you have printed out all the details, if you have a special knife with a set of blades (I don’t remember what it’s called, but sometimes it is used in schools, I’m not talking about the one with a retractable blade, but which has several types of blades, and they can be changed) then cut with it, if not, then find two types of scissors, some normal, others small, I warn you in advance, cutting with scissors is long and difficult. I advise you to cut out all the details at once, but make sure they don’t get lost.
So, let’s glue. I glued PVA and I advise you, just know when to stop, too much glue will soak the paper and it will tear easily.
I advise you to start from this place
There are almost no difficulties in gluing most parts, just be careful, take a closer look, and look at Pepakura more often, also make sure that the tongue is glued evenly, the dimensions are ideal, everything fits millimeter to millimeter.
Let’s move on to the difficult places, first take three paper clips and bend them so that they are of different lengths, this will help you glue where your finger cannot fit.
By difficult I consider it
